Ahoge Peninsula (アホゲ半島 Ahoge Hantō) is a peninsula that juts off the coast of Kozankyo. It earns its name due to the fact the peninsula itself is shaped like an ahoge, a Japanese word that refers to a single hair strand sticking out of a person's head.

Edo Period[ | ]
After the Federal Kingdom of Gensokyo was established, the peninsula came under the control of the then-new kingdom. Some grunts of the Gensokyo Socialist Order were still present at the time of the establishment, and the kingdom vowed to expel them from the continent.

Kozanese Civil War[ | ]
Susumu Takajima and Kagami Ochiai arrived at the tip of Ahoge Peninsula in April 2004 to locate and destroy a stronghold associated with the Shintoist Province and Scarlet Devil of Team Crimson via Crown Princess Konata's Victorian Princess riverboat. A week after the stronghold's destruction, Takajima and Ochiai returned to the peninsula to find anything that was left behind, only to encounter an unfamiliar face that is revealed to be Marie Willow which the duo duels and wins.
